Frame and Roof

For a period of 10 years from the date of completion, GDB guarantees under normal circumstances for the frame profiles and polycarbonates not to yellow or crack or gaskets to shrink, excluding white gaskets which have a tendency to soil. Any units failing to comply with these terms of warranty will be replaced free of charge and delivered and fitted to customer's contract only.

Hardware

For a period of 12 months from the date of completion, and up to 10 years at GDB’s discretion, dependent on fair wear and tear, locks, handles and hinges (excluding any lacquered products and scratching) will be replaced free of charge and delivered and fitted to customers contract only

Glass

For a period of 10 years from the date of completion, GDB guarantees under normal circumstances for the units not to develop obstruction of vision or any film condensation within the unit. Any units failing to comply with these terms of warranty will be replaced free of charge and delivered and fitted to customer's contract only.

Basework

For a period of 10 years from the date of completion, GDB guarantees under normal circumstances for the structure to remain safe. GDB cannot be held liable for bricks blowing and any efflorescence appearing on the surface. When a stainless steel wall profile is inserted in brickwork, small cracks can appear which are not structural defects. GDB cannot be held liable for any defects on floor tile materials.

Electrical

For a period of 12 months from the date of completion, GDB guarantees all electric cables and fittings supplied and fitted by GDB under normal circumstances. In the unlikely event your product needs servicing, please contact a representative of GDB.

This guarantee is effective if installation has been carried out by GDB and a representative has been given the opportunity to inspect the defect prior to it being removed from site.
